We appreciate all the support, assistance and volunteering of our parents. It is important however that we each remember that the intent of TPLL is to provide a positive experience around attitude, effort, and teamwork. Cheering positively for your child and their team is highly encouraged. Jeering against other players, teams or umpires is 100% prohibited and will not be tolerated. Our umpires and coaches may exercise the right to ask parents to leave the stands.
Little League is a family affair that gives parents and children a common ground for spending time together. There are some great suggestions for how to approach your role as a parent and part of the baseball community.
Parents should be sure to check the TPLL website regularly, for Latest News, Twitter feeds, Upcoming Events, Results & Standings and weather updates. The league will also send out relevant and important emails as the season progresses.
Coaches of your player’s team will be in regular communication with you. In addition, you and other parents will have each other’s emails and be able to communicate around rides to games, snack duties and other important matters.
If you have questions about the commitment, risks and performance, or how to best communicate with your child, the International Little League Organization has some great tools.
